You’ll be joining our People team and working closely with hiring managers and interviewers to build diverse, high-performing teams.
This is a unique opportunity to join as our first Talent Acquisition hire in the U.S., which means it’s a highly critical and impactful role. You’ll be setting up the foundations of recruitment for our New York site and playing a key role in shaping our hiring processes and culture on the ground.
In this role you will:
Recruitment Cycle
Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening and interviewing for US roles
Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline to meet current and future hiring needs.
Collaborate with hiring managers across departments to understand hiring requirements and develop tailored recruitment strategies.
Use data-driven methods to optimize recruitment processes and measure success metrics.
Create and maintain job descriptions, ensuring alignment with Empathy’s brand and mission.
Employer Brand
Drive employer branding initiatives, representing Empathy at events, online platforms, and through partnerships to attract top talent.
Candidate Experience
Ensure an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey.
Coordinate virtual and in person interviews, working alongside leaders to ensure operational excellence
Stay updated on hiring trends, best practices, and market insights to remain competitive in attracting top talent.
Requirements:
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Partner to help grow our exceptional team by finding and hiring top talent who share our passion for purpose-driven innovation.
At least 5 years of experience as a Talent Acquisition Partner or in a similar role, preferably within tech companies or startups.
Proven ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Familiarity with various sourcing techniques and tools.
Strong organizational and project management skills with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build trust with candidates and internal teams.
A proactive mindset, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
Flexibility to work in a Start-Up fast-paced environment, accommodating global time zones when needed.
Passion for people and a commitment to creating a positive candidate and employee experience.
Preferred
Experience working in a globally distributed team and/or with international hiring practices.
The salary for this position ranges between $120,000-$140,000. This is decided based on many factors, including but not limited to: skills, qualifications, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, we are proud to offer stock options in the company and a competitive benefits package.
