  • Transfr Trek’s VR career exploration simulations give learners the chance to experience “a day in the life” of well-paying jobs in high-growth industries. Simulations like: 🚨 Helping at a car crash 🩻 Assisting with a knee surgery 🚑 Helping an emergency patient 🏗️ Rebuilding a destroyed communications tower At Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Minnesota, 25 middle and high school students tried and evaluated Transfr’s VR career exploration simulations: ➡️ More than 80% of students thought Transfr’s VR career exploration was easy and engaging (more engaging than other methods of career exploration)  ➡️ More than 75% of students said they learned a lot about career fields and options through the simulations ➡️ More than 75% of students said they’d like to do VR skills training in the future It would be practically impossible to have these experiences through methods like job shadowing or field trips — but these roles are vital to our society. That’s why Transfr’s immersive learning platform is so important: Introducing young people to these career paths has the potential to make a huge difference in shaping the workforce of tomorrow. 🚀 Want to learn more? 📲 Visit our website, transfrinc.com, to read our efficacy studies, hear from customers, or book a demo. #Transfr #CareerExploration #FutureOfWork #WorkforceDevelopment #CareerReadiness

  • Career exploration is where workforce development begins, and it matters now more than ever. Why? 1️⃣ The world of work is becoming less predictable, and the idea of a “safe” career path is becoming a thing of the past. 🔍 Career exploration helps young people (and adults) discover in-demand, high-wage careers they may not have been aware of.    2️⃣ Education is getting more and more expensive, heightening the risk of trial-and-error in career pathways.  🔍 Career exploration helps individuals make informed decisions about their career preferences before investing time and money on training and preparation. That’s why career exploration matters more than ever. It’s the first step in helping learners: ✔ Identify jobs that align with their interests and strengths ✔ Understand what high-growth jobs really feel like ✔ Make informed decisions that lead to meaningful, sustainable work Transfr Trek, our multi-modal solution makes career exploration immersive and engaging: ✏️ Career interest assessments 🎯 Personalized career matching 🥽 VR career simulations 🎓 Career planning and certification pathways This Workforce Development Month, we’re proud to partner with education, workforce, and community organizations to make exploration more effective and accessible for learners everywhere 🤝  🔗Learn more about our work at TransfrInc.com. #WorkforceDevelopmentMonth #Transfr #FutureOfWork #EconomicMobility #WorkforceInnovation

    • Young man uses virtual reality headset and controller as part of a VR career exploration activity. Text reads: "Discover. Experience. Pursue. Career exploration: The first step to finding fulfilling work. #WorkforceDevelopmentMonth"
  • We loved being part of this event with Alliance For Working Together (AWT) Foundation at their Transformation Training Center! 🙌 Bringing immersive career exploration and training to life alongside schools and community partners reflects the innovation and collaboration that drive workforce development forward.

💡 At AWT, exploring innovation isn’t just what we do—it’s who we are. Our Transformation Training Center welcomed Transfr, for an on-site demonstration of their VR Immersive Career Exploration and Training Simulations. We were excited to host representatives from Perry High School, Willoughby-Eastlake Schools, Lifeline, Riverside Local Schools, and The Salvation Army, who joined us to see firsthand how cutting-edge technology can inspire career pathways and workforce development. Innovation, collaboration, and hands-on learning are at the heart of our mission—and events like this bring it all together. Appreciation to Randy Carver, The New Beginning Initiative.

  • The workforce is evolving faster than ever. Emerging technologies like AI are automating entry-level roles, while many traditionally “safe” career paths are being redefined. • What if every student could step into the shoes of a scientist, engineer, or healthcare professional — without leaving the classroom? • VR doesn’t just teach skills — it sparks ideas, ambitions, and hope. Efficacy studies by Transfr (and others) show why virtual reality is so powerful for education: It’s immersive, engaging, and effective. But VR also has the power to change lives: 💼 VR career exploration helps learners see themselves in careers they’ve never imagined. 🧰 VR skills training builds confidence and sets job seekers up for success. ⚖️ For justice-impacted youth in Fort Wayne, VR is helping them to discover a path to a well-paying job — and a future without regression. Why does this matter? According to the Bureau of Justice Statistics, 50% of inmates released from state, federal, or local jails end up behind bars again within three years. But research from RAND shows that those who participate in correctional education are 43% less likely to return to prison. At Transfr, we believe smarter, more sustainable re-entry programs are the key to reducing recidivism. And we believe that VR can lead the way — by giving justice-impacted individuals access to real-world skills, and a renewed sense of possibility. ✨ Want to learn more?  📲 Visit our website, transfrinc.com, to read our efficacy studies, hear from customers, or book a demo. #JusticeImpacted #ReentryPrograms #Recidivism #Transfr #WorkforceDevelopment
