Following severe floods in Texas this summer, we partnered with clients to raise over $1M for relief efforts, demonstrating our ability to make a meaningful impact. That momentum continued at Applause for the Cause, a benefit concert we proudly sponsored in New Braunfels, TX. This weekend, thanks to a Thrivent Action Team, we were able to give a group of boys from Early Learning Connections a joyful day at Fun Spot. Early Learning Connections is the nonprofit my parents founded, dedicated to nurturing and empowering children and families in Central Florida. The love they pour into their work is so real, the kids affectionately call them Grandma and Grandpa. And after a long week of working with kids—picking them up, caring for them, feeding them, encouraging them—Mr. Wil still took the time on a Saturday to chaperone this trip and create memories that’ll last a lifetime. I’m so proud of the work they do and grateful I could support from afar with the help of Thrivent. This is what it looks like when generosity is more than a value—it’s a way of life. 💛
