  • Ignite Innovation: The 'No Constraints Thinking' Workshop What happens when 50 executives from the world's most powerful construction and engineering firms come together to innovate? Amazing things! ThisWay Global recently partnered with the TAMU CoSci Department to deliver our 'No Constraints Thinking Workshop,' an AI solution focused program designed to unlock meaningful business outcomes, measured in millions of dollars, in just 99 days. ThisWay's CEO, Angela Hood was joined by DPR Construction's General Superintendent, Lionel Branscomb. He is best known for excellence in innovative construction on the most technical projects in the world; Stargate 1 OpenAI data center in Abilene and the former GS on Tesla's GigaFactory in Austin. Branscomb helped fellow construction executives perfect the problem they set as their 'Objective' and taught them how to challenge conventional thinking to unlock innovation in construction and engineering. Twelve teams moved at light speed, identifying important, difficult, and valuable problems they wanted solved before the end of the year. From AI innovation to workplace safety, automated scheduling, and new vertical expansion, these challenges typically take companies years to tackle. But in this workshop, each executive was empowered with a team of CoSci students and faculty, driving them toward significant outcomes by December 3rd. What seemed unobtainable in hour one was being solved by hour two! The final hour was dedicated to refining focus and fostering accountability, with each team committing to specific actions to achieve their objectives in just 99 days. These 'No Constraints Thinking' teams are already well on their way to delivering transformative results! Could your organization benefit from this level of transformative leadership and innovative thinking? Discover how ThisWay Global can empower your entire team to achieve unprecedented outcomes. #NoConstraintsThinking #Innovation #Leadership #BusinessTransformation #ThisWayGlobal

Job seekers who interviewed with AI Got 12% more offers than those who met humans. That's from a new study tracking 70,000 real job interviews. The researchers randomly assigned applicants to be interviewed by either human recruiters or AI voice agents. Candidates interviewed by AI were 18% more likely to start the job and had 17% better retention after 30 days. The transcript analysis shows why: AI interviews covered 23% more topics. They followed structured guides perfectly. They extracted more hiring-relevant information. They reduced nervous behaviors that hurt candidates like excessive filler words, too many clarifying questions, off-topic rambling. The AI created a predictable, thorough interview environment. No mood swings. No fatigue at 4pm. No unconscious bias (gender discrimination reports dropped from 5.98 to 3.30%). What this means for everyone looking for a job: Start practicing with AI interview tools NOW! Not because they're trendy, but because they prepare you for what's coming. Use ChatGPT or Claude for mock interviews. Ask for role-specific questions. Request feedback on your answers. Practice until comprehensive responses feel natural. LLMs are the best brainstorming tool on the planet. Use them to practice job hunting scenarios! Link to study in comments.

Everyone's worried about AI's energy consumption. So what are we doing about it? Crusoe's data center in Abilene TX may provide one blueprint for the future. They're tackling the constraint no one talks about: Water. While traditional data centers evaporate millions of gallons annually, this facility uses closed-loop cooling that recirculates the same water indefinitely. Annual usage per building? 12,625 gallons. Your neighbor with the manicured lawn probably uses more. Yes, it costs more to build. Yes, maintenance is harder. Most operators won't do it at scale because the economics are challenging. Crusoe chose to eat those costs. But look at what else is happening in Abilene: 4,000 construction workers on-site daily. The facility will contribute 25-32% of local property tax revenue. Eight buildings, each driving $1 billion in economic impact over 20 years. The pattern emerging across AI infrastructure: constraints aren't barriers, they're moats. Solve what others won't touch. Whether it's water scarcity, grid limitations, community resistance, it doesn't matter. Breaking through will unlock markets your competitors can't enter. Data centers used to be hidden infrastructure. Now they're becoming economic anchors for entire regions. And the winners won't necessarily have the biggest facilities. They'll have them in places no one else can build. What other creative strategies will we need to employ in order to power the growing world of compute?

SEO experts spent 20 years mastering Google. Now they have 6 months to figure out ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity. AI referrals to websites exploded 770% this year. ChatGPT alone drives 80% of that traffic. While everyone's panicking about AI replacing search, marketers are asking a new question: How do you rank #1 when the search engine thinks for itself? We're watching the birth of an entirely new field. AI search optimization requires completely different tactics than traditional SEO. No more keyword stuffing. No more backlink farms. The new rules? Be cited by AI models. Become their trusted source. Early winners like Reuters and The Guardian dominate AI referrals not through tricks, but through consistency, accuracy, and structured data that AI models can parse. They're not optimizing for algorithms anymore. They're optimizing for intelligence. While Google still sends 191 billion referrals versus AI's 1.13 billion, that AI number grew 357% in one year. Every percentage point of that growth represents millions in revenue for whoever figures out the playbook. User behavior is shifting in real-time. They're having conversations with AI instead of "googling". They expect answers, not links. The websites that adapt to this new reality will capture the next generation of web traffic. The companies investing in AI search optimization today will own tomorrow's traffic. Those ignoring it will fade like the yellow pages. Have any of you noticed less use of google search? What are some of the phrases you're using with chatgpt instead? *image credit to Similarweb #AI #SEO #DigitalMarketing #AISearch #FutureOfSearch #MarketingStrategy

AI discovered 106 ways to build better AI. All of them beat what humans designed. Researchers at Shanghai Jiao Tong University built ASI-ARCH, an AI system that invents, codes, and tests neural network architectures completely on its own. After 20,000 GPU hours of computation, it discovered 106 designs that outperform the best human-created models. Finding improvements in AI architecture has become nearly impossible for humans alone. With millions of possible combinations, researchers can only test a fraction. ASI-ARCH solves this by automating the entire process. The system operates like a self-contained research team. Three AI agents work together: - one proposes architectural ideas and writes code, - another tests and debugs the implementations, - and a third analyzes what worked and why. Each cycle builds on previous experiments. For this setup, computational power directly correlates with scientific breakthroughs. More processing resources consistently yielded more discoveries. This suggests scientific progress itself can now scale with hardware. The most successful architectures revealed an unexpected pattern. Instead of using completely novel components, the top performers took established techniques and combined them in sophisticated new ways. Nearly half their design decisions came from learning from past experiments rather than theoretical knowledge. The difference is speed and scale. Where human teams might run dozens of experiments, ASI-ARCH completed over 1,700. But as we've seen in recent findings, AI systems can actually perform worse when given more processing time, often overthinking simple problems. And when multiple AI agents share the same underlying architecture, they can unknowingly pass along subtle biases through their outputs, which would certainly impact the quality of research. What's your take on AI systems that can design their own improvements? #AI #MachineLearning #Research #Innovation #FutureOfWork #Technology

A $545 million startup just got Netflix, Disney, Lionsgate, and AMC to admit they're using AI for video production. Runway AI's tools are already generating scenes in Amazon's "House of David," visuals for Madonna's concerts, and commercials for Puma. No longer experimental. In production. Making money. Netflix confirmed AI is now integrated into their content workflow, citing cost and speed benefits for visual effects in their new show "El Eternaut." Traditional motion capture requires expensive equipment, specialized crews, and weeks of post-production. Runway's Act-Two model delivers comparable results in hours. Lionsgate seems to be all in. They're training Runway's AI on their entire content library to create a proprietary model. The goal? "Making higher quality content for lower prices." It's the same value proposition as other Gen AI conversations. Visual effects that cost millions can now cost thousands. Production timelines compress from months to days. For studios of all shapes and sizes, the math is too simple to ignore. AMC Networks uses Runway to visualize upcoming shows and create marketing assets before filming begins. No sets. No actors. No cameras. Just prompts and renders. Runway's Gen-4 system converts text prompts into video clips. Act-Two maps human movements onto animated characters. The technical capabilities matter less than the business impact: democratized production at enterprise scale. OpenAI's Sora remains in talks with studios. Google's video AI seeks partnerships. Runway has production credits and signed contracts. First-mover advantage in an industry where relationships matter. Traditional VFX houses built on specialized knowledge and expensive hardware face a quickly shifting landscape. Studios see margin expansion. Creators see barriers falling. The entire production ecosystem is recalculating. Hollywood rarely admits to using new technology until it's proven. These admissions signal the proving is done. *Video credit -- runwayml homepage

OpenAI just made ChatGPT worse at homework. On purpose. Their new Study Mode refuses to give direct answers. Ask for help with calculus? Instead of the solution, you get "What approach would you take first?" The AI that students loved for instant answers now makes them work for it. One in three college students already uses ChatGPT. Now OpenAI is hoping they'll stick around for the harder version. The feature, built with the help of teachers, implements core learning science principles. Interactive prompts use Socratic questioning to guide understanding. Scaffolded responses break complex topics into digestible sections. Personalized support adjusts to each student's skill level. Knowledge checks quiz comprehension along the way. One student tester described it as "live, 24/7, all-knowing office hours." Another spent three hours with Study Mode finally understanding sinusoidal positional encodings after multiple failed attempts with traditional resources. For two years, educational institutions have played defense against AI. Detection software. Honor codes. Outright bans. Meanwhile, OpenAI opens the door to a new system: make the AI a tutor that refuses to be a shortcut. Education technology is exploding, and every AI company wants campus contracts. Will this be enough? ChatGPT has a reputation as an academic integrity nightmare. That might be hard to overcome. Future plans include clearer visualizations for complex concepts, goal setting across conversations, and deeper personalization. OpenAI is also partnering with Stanford's SCALE Initiative to study how AI tools influence learning outcomes. One of my immediate thoughts. This is great first step, but will students actually use Study Mode when instant answers are just a toggle away? What's your take?  #AIEducation #EdTech #ChatGPT #FutureOfLearning #AcademicIntegrity
