Disney employees from Burbank to Bristol came together to celebrate the launch of ESPN’s new direct-to-consumer streaming service. 🎉 The New York Giants drumline made an appearance at 7 Hudson Square, character meet-and-greets and arcade games lined the Walt Disney Studios lot in Burbank, ESPN leadership rang the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange, and so much more. Take a look back at the action. #ESPN #ESPNCareers

There isn't a more fitting way to celebrate Disneyland Resort's 70th anniversary than seeing a wish come true! ✨ While undergoing treatment for leukemia, 13-year-old Madison (Maddie) read The Imagineering Story and watched Behind the Attraction on Disney+. This inspired her wish: to meet the Imagineers who bring the parks to life, and one day become an Imagineer herself. What Maddie didn’t know was that her wish would be the 170,000th Disney wish granted with Make-A-Wish America – just in time for Disneyland’s 70th anniversary. To share this momentous occasion, Make-A-Wish America President and CEO Leslie Motter and Disney Experiences Chairman Josh D’Amaro met with Maddie at Walt Disney Imagineering headquarters and surprised her with the news and a plaque commemorating her milestone wish. When ‘Toy Story’ was released in theaters on November 22, 1995, it laid the groundwork for Pixar Animation Studios to become the powerhouse that it is today. 🚀 🤠 The film revolutionized the animation industry, and it changed the trajectories of the unproven but determined creative team who turned their ideas into reality. From Andrew Stanton and Pete Docter, the studio's second and third animators, respectively, to Jonas Rivera, the studio's first production intern, ‘Toy Story’ was a lightning-in-a-bottle experience. “It felt like a bunch of people making a movie in their garage,” said Docter, who is now Pixar’s Chief Creative Officer. “It felt like we were just doing it for fun.” See what else Docter, Stanton, and Rivera had to say about taking this story to infinity… and beyond: http://di.sn/6049Az2yh

That's a wrap 🎬 Together with Make-A-Wish® UK and National Geographic, we recently granted nine-year-old Liam's wish to become a nature documentary TV Presenter. The team at National Geographic CreativeWorks found the perfect location for the budding presenter who headed to Zoological Society of London (ZSL) London Zoo for the day. Joining Liam, as co-host, was National Geographic Explorer and TV Presenter Liz Bonnin. Liam received the star treatment and the full National Geographic TV experience - from cue cards, make-up touch-ups, rehearsals, interviewing the zookeepers, and of course, getting up close with Galapagos tortoises, katydids, corn snakes and more. As a keepsake of his wish, Liam took home an exclusive cut of the film “The Secret Lives of Reptiles, Reefs and Arthropods with Liam and Liz” A huge thank you to everyone who made Liam’s day a success ✨ Check out behind the scenes footage of Liam's wish 👇 Over the last three years, Disney has delivered over 145,000 transformative moments for UK children and those closest to them when they need it most. #MakeAWish #NationalGeographic #NatGeoExplorers #NationalGeographicSociety

What is it like being a part of a company like ESPN? “Being part of ESPN has been such a formative experience. Growing up, I only saw the polished final product; the highlight reels, the powerful features, the seamless storytelling. Now, I witness firsthand the dedication and teamwork behind seconds on a screen. Being part of the team that millions watch has been both humbling and electrifying.” - Alicia, production assistant on NFL live
