Each year, we recognize Thumbtakers who truly embody our core values. Sarah Woo (she/her), Product Manager, was nominated by peers and leaders to win our Lead With Why Values Award for 2024. 🎉 As part of each winner's prize package, they received funds for a paid vacation or experience. Sarah used hers to take a family trip to South Korea to create memories with her two kids and their family. 🌏

Thumbtack’s VAMOS Employee Resource Group supports our LatinX community — and helps provide the power of connection that leads to growth. 🚀 VAMOS member, Sandro Gago, found opportunities to branch out beyond finance, connect with teammates across Thumbtack and gain fresh insights into the business. But most importantly, it’s been a space to learn openly from others’ experiences.

Yesterday I attended the 2025 Bay Area CFO of the Year Awards and was honored to be recognized as a finalist by San Francisco Business Times and Larkin Street Youth Services. Being named a finalist is a reminder of the incredible team I get to work with at Thumbtack. Every day we balance financial discipline with innovation to make it easier for homeowners to care for their homes and for pros to grow their businesses. The event also raised critical funds for Larkin Street Youth Services, whose work fighting youth homelessness in San Francisco provides housing, education, employment, and health services.
