This morning, we pause to remember a day that changed our nation forever. On September 11, 2001, nearly 3,000 innocent lives were lost in acts of unimaginable tragedy. The weight of that day still echoes in our hearts, reminding us of the fragility of life and the strength of the human spirit. We honor the courage of the first responders who rushed toward danger, the resilience of the survivors, and the families who continue to carry the memory of their loved ones. Their stories remain a testament to sacrifice, compassion, and unity. At Tech Etch, we believe in the power of community and the responsibility we share to support one another. Today, we reflect not only on what was lost, but also on the hope, strength, and solidarity that rose from the ashes. Happy 7-years of 100% employee-ownership! Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) is a qualified defined-contribution employee benefit plan that provides a company’s workforce with an ownership interest. In 1999, founder George Keeler created the ESOP that sold 30% of Tech Etch to the employees. In 2018, he sold the rest of the organization to the employees, making Tech Etch a 100% employee-owned company. When the people who handle the day-to-day work at a company have an investment in the organization, they take pride in the work that they do. We work harder and care more about the products/services, our clients, and our partners. Employee ownership brings a sense of responsibility to both our company and our community.
