The Town of Fort Myers Beach is seeking a dynamic and experienced Town Manager to lead our vibrant coastal community. This is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact by overseeing municipal operations, strategic planning, and community development while working closely with elected officials, staff, and residents. Key Responsibilities: ▪️ Provide executive leadership and strategic direction for the Town ▪️ Oversee budgets, policies, and town-wide initiatives ▪️ Foster strong relationships with the community and stakeholders ▪️ Drive economic development and infrastructure improvements Ideal Candidate: ▪️ Experience serving in a Town Manager capacity for a Florida municipality, preferably in a coastal or beach community. ▪️ Expertise in hurricane emergency response, recovery, and FEMA compliance. ▪️ Demonstrated ability to lead crisis response efforts in a municipal setting. ▪️ Grant administration experience. ▪️ Previous experience working closely with outside law enforcement and fire departments. ▪️ Legislative experience with the ability to advocate at local, state, and federal levels. ▪️ Capital improvement project planning and execution. ▪️ Experience in strategic planning.
