    🏆 In any competition—on the course, in the office, or in daily life—edge isn’t about a single moment. It’s about showing up consistently. New research on 389 PGA Tour athletes across 521 tournaments (2017–2025) shows just how powerful consistency is. We looked at four key metrics: • Recovery • Resting Heart Rate (RHR) • Sleep Consistency • Sleep Duration 📊 The findings were clear: Every 10-point boost in Recovery correlated with ~0.5 strokes fewer per round. That’s 2 strokes over a 4-day stretch—the difference between fading and finishing first. Golfers who maintain a regular sleep schedule weren’t just more rested—they played 0.4 strokes better per round and made fewer critical mistakes. Longer, higher-quality sleep, lower RHR, and higher HRV were all associated with more “strokes gained”—especially in high-pressure moments. ⏱ Why this matters beyond golf: Because what we saw in athletes applies everywhere. Recovery and consistency sharpen decision-making, sustain focus, and make excellence repeatable. You don’t win by having one good day. You win by stacking good days together. ✨ In a world defined by thin margins—whether in sport, business, or life—the real advantage is knowing how to keep showing up at your best. Better Recovery.     Americans can expect to spend 15% of their lives suffering from disease, and by age 65, over 85% of individuals will live with at least one chronic condition. Decades of research have established clear relationships between lifestyle behaviors and physiological metrics with important health outcomes like morbidity and mortality. Healthspan, a feature we introduced with the launch of 5.0 and MG, interprets key WHOOP metrics in the context of this research, giving members an unprecedented view of how their daily behaviors impact their long-term health. Two main metrics are provided within Healthspan: WHOOP Age and Pace of Aging. WHOOP Age is a measure of your physiological age, which can be younger or older than your actual, chronological age. This metric is harder to move and updates more gradually over time, offering a long-term view of your physiological health. Pace of Aging measures how quickly your WHOOP Age is changing.
