When devastating floods struck Kerr County on July 4, Whataburger Family Members and guests stepped up in a big way. Through the Cups That Care campaign, more than $1.7 million was raised to support long-term relief and recovery efforts. We'd like to give a big THANK YOU to every guest who purchased a collectible cup to support the campaign, as well as to our dedicated Family Members who worked to keep those cups moving across the counter. The funds will go directly to organizations providing long-term support — including the Children’s Bereavement Center, the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country, the Gary Sinise Foundation, and Team Rubicon — ensuring that families, first responders, and entire communities have the resources they need to rebuild. 🧡

Giving back to those in need is at the very heart of our mission of Goodness 24/7, and today, Whataburger was proud to announce a donation of more than $1.7 million to support Texas communities impacted by the devastating Hill Country floods this summer. These funds will be distributed to nine nonprofit organizations providing disaster response, mental health care, and long-term rebuilding support to our neighbors and their communities. We were proud to welcome representatives from some of the nonprofits to our headquarters in San Antonio on Friday to highlight their ongoing work and the impact this community-wide effort will have in the months and years ahead. Thank you to our friends at the Children's Bereavement Center of South Texas, Team Rubicon, Gary Sinise Foundation, Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country, Band Together Texas Foundation, Applause for the Cause, San Antonio Botanical Garden, San Angelo Relief Foundation, and the Hill Country Community Foundation for ensuring that these funds are put to the best use to help Hill Country residents. 🧡

Nothing tastes better than Goodness 24/7 — but cupcakes are pretty good, too! 🧡 We celebrated 53 birthdays with The Birthday Party Project, treating 275 kids experiencing homelessness and their caregivers to a WhataParty full of smiles, games, toys, and Whataburger favorites. We’re honored to donate $75,000 to the Birthday Party Project help keep the party going for more kids in need!

When we announced our "Texiest" burger ever, we didn't know a Dallas baker would match our energy with the "Texiest Cake Ever Baked!" 🤯 To keep the Texas-sized excitement going, we delivered the cake as a surprise to the family members at Whataburger Unit #790! From the intricate hand-crafted details to the funfetti-filled center, it was the perfect way to celebrate the team's hard work bringing the Bacon Wrangler Double to life every day for our customers.

In 2019, Anthony Piekarski and his family packed up and moved from Texas to Indiana, but Whataburger was never far from his heart — or his fridge. His local restaurant sent them off with four cases of Whataburger ketchup to tide them over. Anthony shared his story with us for our 75th anniversary, and we knew we could go even bigger for this Whatafan. Whataguy surprised him in Fort Wayne with a ketchup restock AND an invitation for the entire Piekarski family to join us in Corpus Christi for a once-in-a-lifetime trip to celebrate Whataburger where it all began. #Whataburger75

We’re excited to welcome Jessica Reicher as our new Chief Operating Officer! With over 30 years of experience leading restaurant operations and building high-performing teams, Jessica brings a wealth of knowledge and energy to Whataburger. Jessica’s career began at Red Robin, where she rose from hourly team member to Regional Operations Director. She later held senior leadership roles at Fuddruckers, Pizza Hut International, and Taco Bell, where she led restaurant excellence and integration for over 7,200 restaurants. Her most recent role as President of Arby’s at Flynn Group saw her lead over 360 locations across 10 states and drive industry-leading results. She will lead all Whataburger Corporate and Franchise Restaurant Operation Services, helping us drive operational excellence and strategic growth. Jessica will join Whataburger on Tuesday, September 16, 2025. She will be based in San Antonio at the Home Office where she will connect with the over 52,000 employees, called Family Members, and the amazing guests served across 17 states at more than 1,100 restaurants. We’re thrilled to have her join the Whataburger Family!

Orange never looked so good! 🧡 From Whataguy’s mascot friends from across the Coastal Bend to superfans rocking glitter fry tiaras, the orange spirit was everywhere you looked at Orange Out Night at Whataburger Field last week! It was a perfect evening to celebrate our 75th birthday in our hometown alongside the community that’s been cheering with us since Day 1. Members of Whataburger’s founding family and our President & CEO Debbie Stroud joined the fun alongside some of our longest-serving Family Members, making the night capped by orange and white fireworks even more special. #Whataburger75

We're celebrating National Whataburger Day with our customers today, but earlier this week, we got to celebrate our 75th anniversary with our Family Members at the home office! We had a hearty Whataburger breakfast, followed by hat & bracelet bars, arcade games, and even a mini golf course to work on our short game. ⛳️ Our sincerest thanks to our Family Members in the home office as well as everyone working hard in our restaurants across the country today as we share Goodness 24/7 with our loyal fans. We couldn’t do any of it without your passion, dedication, and heart! 🧡
