The Texas VPP we’re building in partnership with NRG Energy is off to a great start and exceeding expectations. As reported by NRG this week, the VPP is on track for 150MW of capacity by the end of the year, ahead of schedule on our way to building a 1GW VPP by 2035. Utilities and energy providers are looking for more effective ways to deliver cost-effective energy to customers. As nationwide electricity demand continues to grow, VPPs represent the most immediate and cost-effective way to provide capacity, offer critical cost relief to consumers, and support the grid. Congratulations again to Larry Coben, Robert Gaudette, Dak Liyanearachchi and Mark Parsons for their leadership here.
