RSN is a community that embraces, empowers, and inspires youth and emerging adults who need support.
About us
We provide youth and emerging adults who have challenges related to substance use, mental health and/or justice involvement with a sense of belonging, the skills and capacities for self-advocacy, healthy relationships, and positive engagement in the community. When 18 year-old Matt McQuiston died from a drug overdose following months of treatment, Matt’s family and friends established a memorial fund to provide necessary support systems to prevent similar devastation to the lives of youth and their families. This funding planted the seed for Reintegration Support Network. “This was more than a cooking class. It was a space for healing, connection, and growth.” — Terence Johnson, Executive Director This spring, RSN partnered with Mel’s Commissary & Catering to serve up a recipe for wellness. Nine youth completed a 5-week culinary program that didn’t just teach cooking — it cultivated confidence, community, and care. Al and Mel opened their kitchen, hearts, and resources — to nurture the next generation. And the results? A table full of smiles, gratitude, and stories we’ll never forget. 💬 Stay tuned for more quotes and reflections as we prepare to cook up something big on June 29! #CookingUpFutures #StirringUpPotential #RSNImpact #YouthFirstHealingCentered

Today, we remember. At Reintegration Support Network, we pause to honor and remember the brave souls who paid the ultimate price for our freedoms. Memorial Day is more than a long weekend—it’s a moment to reflect on courage, sacrifice, and the unyielding spirit of service that shapes our nation. As we support youth on their journey of reintegration and purpose, we draw inspiration from those who gave all. May we live lives worthy of their legacy. We remember. We honor. if you want more youth to be able to say this about the adults in their lives! The youth we work with -- those impacted by substance use, mental health, or justice involvement -- may not have anyone who embraces, empowers, or inspires them. But, thanks to our mentors, most of them leave the program with a longer list of champions. Will you add to that list of champions for RSN's youth with your donation today? Learn more and give at www.rsnnc.org/support.
