To recognise and celebrate South Asian Heritage Month, Reed Smith’s Multicultural Network (MCN) hosted an incredible evening at Reed Smith's London office, featuring special guest Shazia Mirza. Shazia Mirza, an award winning stand-up comedian and writer, discussed her childhood, her journey as a comedian, and her reflections on this year’s South Asian Heritage Month theme, ‘Roots to Routes’. The event was a powerful gathering of our Reed Smith community, honouring stories shaped by roots and the routes travelled to get to where South Asians in Britain now are. Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the night an inspiring and unforgettable celebration. As we continue this journey, let’s remember the traditions, languages, customs and rituals shaped over generations, the grounding identities, and forging of families and communities.
