('Hello, World!');
It feels a bit nostalgic typing this, throwback to my first product architectures & lines of code back in my CS days. But today, I’m not here to design a product or debug code; I’m here to write my first-ever LinkedIn article. After 5+ years of grooming myself in the industry (and a fair share of judging others who post here), I’ve finally decided to put my thoughts into words.
Now, I’m not saying every article here is gold — some definitely belong on Instagram, accompanied by cute pictures. But hey, We listen and we don't judge (okay, maybe a little). Let’s dive into something serious:
The Savage Truth: If You’re Not Using AI in Recruitment, You’re Already Behind.
Let’s be real,
recruitment today is a disaster.
Your “gut instincts” are failing you.
Your manual processes are slow.
And if you’re still flipping through resumes one by one, you’re not just outdated - you’re obsolete.
Harsh? Maybe.
True? Absolutely.
In 2025, companies sticking to traditional hiring methods are bleeding talent, money, and credibility.
The competition? They’re already leveraging AI to outpace you.
The Problem:
• Time lost: 42 days—the average time-to-hire for most companies.
• Talent lost: Top candidates are off the market in 10 days.
• Money lost: $4,129 per hire, on average.
Now I’m not saying you can solve all in a single night.
I’m not a snake oil salesman.
Nor are you someone who believes in “Get rich quick schemes.”
I know you’re smarter than that.
Anyway. Signing off for now.
Next thing, we’ll talk about how we can address these issues.
