At Rotech, we're more than a provider—we're a partner in improving patient outcomes and enhancing quality of life. That's exactly what we aimed for when we stepped in to help Roger*, a COPD patient struggling with worsening symptoms and heavy oxygen tank usage. When Roger's wife mentioned he was waking up feeling like he couldn't breathe—even with his home oxygen concentrator—we took immediate action. Our team reviewed his file, requested recent hospital notes, and uncovered a concerning PCO2 level of 72mmHg, far above the normal range. With this information, we collaborated closely with Roger's primary care provider, who agreed that Non-Invasive Ventilation (NIV) therapy through our NIVnow™ Program could be a game-changer. The results? Roger's oxygen tank usage has dramatically decreased, and he says, "It's so nice to be able to breathe again." Even his wife is getting better sleep! This is why we do what we do: to ensure patients like Roger have the tools and support they need to thrive at home.
