Pleasant Car Care & Tire is a full service, automotive repair and maintenance shop serving drivers in the Metro West Boston area, Arlington, Boston, Allston, Brighton, Cambridge, Brookline, Newton, Watertown and Waltham communities with many years of consistent, reliable, and friendly service. We are locally owned and operated with two locations in Newton, MA and Watertown, MA. Our ASE-certified technicians have over 100 years of combined experience in the automotive industry. Let our professionals provide the appropriate level of care your vehicle needs, or ask them for advice on anything automotive. Our technicians install tires, perform brake repair services, fix suspension issues, align wheels, replace car batteries, perform radiator repairs, and so much more. There Is No Technician Shortage 🔧 Everyone says there’s a technician shortage. The truth? There isn’t. What we have is a shortage of people who know how to recruit properly — and a shortage of shops that execute a concept that retains technicians and makes their workplace attractive. A technician posted yesterday that they’re “open for work.” Look closer: • They’re working in an extremely dirty environment. • They’re frustrated because service advisors won’t leave the office to perform proper inspections. • They’re stuck in a broken process, which hurts morale and destroys trust with the customer. There’s no wondering why this technician is “open to work.” Hopefully, he finds a good home before he leaves the industry altogether.
