Full-Stack Construction Scheduling: Easy, Collaborative, Powerful
About us
A great project schedule is critical to construction project profitability. 70% of projects are over budget, primarily due to poor schedule planning. CPM Scheduling is hard, and tools have not evolved in decades, as many construction professionals are still using a 100-year-old concept like a Gantt chart. Planera is a collaborative online whiteboard CPM software that is super simple yet very powerful. Using Planera, users create resource and cost-loaded schedules in hours instead of weeks. People with knowledge of the project can build sophisticated schedules themselves without the need for a scheduling expert or consultant, saving time and money, and reducing frustration.

We had a great time with the Okland Construction team in Arizona last week! We kicked off the day in Tempe, talking about how crucial early detection is for schedule compression—and the role technology, training, and analysis play in making it happen. From there, we headed to Glendale for a jobsite tour and a live progress update with the project team running their job in Planera. The night wrapped up with a big surprise — a Phoenix Mercury game, thanks to Tom Clark & Jesse Lee. Appreciate the partnership and the chance to learn and build together.

Before Planera, Rimrock Construction was dealing with projects running late and schedules that felt like paperwork instead of a helpful building tool. After rolling out Planera, superintendents are actually using the schedule in the field to plan their work, and projects are hitting their timelines again. Huge thank you to Charles Alger, AC for sharing his story! Link to the testimonial and case study in the comments. 👇

Last week, the Planera team came together in San Francisco for an unforgettable all-hands meeting. Remote work is great, but nothing beats real-life connection. We visited a job site, biked across the Golden Gate Bridge, and got inspired by a fireside chat with Darren Bechtel from Brick & Mortar Ventures. We even got a little work done planning for the rest of this year and into 2026. Our team is energized for what's ahead! 🚀
