🌟 We're excited to announce our new adolescent unit at Longview!🌟 This space will provide overnight care for youth ages 12-17 during mental health crises. With features like sensory rooms and outdoor spaces, we're creating a safe environment where young people can recover and thrive. We’re starting with referrals from Larimer County Department of Human Services, with community-wide access coming later in 2025.

💜 Today, on International Overdose Awareness Day, we remember our loved ones, support those who miss them, and stand together for a better tomorrow. Overdose affects all of our neighborhoods, but so does our power to make a difference. When we share our journeys, speak up, and show up for each other, we create positive change—and remind everyone that no one has to walk this path alone. Together, we move from just talking about the problem to healing as a community. At SummitStone, we're here to walk alongside you, through every step of your journey. 🌍✨ #IOAD2025 #EndOverdose #TogetherWeRemember

SummitStone Health Partners supports Larimer County's new "Be Awkward... Ask" campaign. This short video has a simple message: Before your child visits a friend's home, parents should ask the other adults if there are guns in the home and how they're stored. Why this matters: 1 in 4 students in our county say they could get a loaded gun without adult permission. Having this quick conversation might feel awkward, but it could save a life. All local police departments and school districts in Larimer County back this campaign, showing our community's unified commitment to keeping children safe. Small actions can make big differences in protecting our youth. Watch the latest PSA here: https://lnkd.in/gETkYH9b

💜 August is Overdose Awareness Month, ending with International Overdose Awareness Day on August 31. This month, we come together to share stories, reduce shame, and remember those we've lost to overdose – our loved ones who left too soon. Every person matters. Every story deserves respect. We honor those we miss by speaking up, breaking down barriers, and helping others find hope. We believe people can and do recover. This month, let's learn the signs of overdose, carry life-saving naloxone, and support each other with compassion. No matter where you are on your journey, we will walk alongside you. Recovery is possible, and we're here to help. Join us and our Northern Colorado community for healing events happening throughout the month. Together, we create ripples of positive change. AUGUST 23: Greeley: 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. | Glenmere Park and Loveland: 3 p.m. - 5 p.m. | Foundry Plaza August 24: Fort Collins: 12 p.m. - 2 p.m. | Old Town Square September 3: In Estes Park: 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. | Bond Park #OneBigFamily #DrivenByHope #IOAD2025 #EndOverdose

We know change can feel overwhelming - especially when it's about something as important as your healthcare. But here's what we want you to know: You don't have to figure this out alone. Watch this short video from the Colorado Department of Health Care Policy & Financing - HCPF to learn what's happening ➡️ https://lnkd.in/gGhiA5zU

The Colorado Behavioral Health Administration (BHA) is hosting an event in Fort Collins to meet with community members and local providers about the behavioral health needs in the area, as well as to share some of the priorities BHA has planned for the next few years. Find event details below: EVENT: Fort Collins Community Conversation DATE: Wednesday, July 30, 2025 RESOURCE FAIR: 4:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. COMMUNITY CONVERSATION: 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. LOCATION: Community Meeting Room, Harmony Library, 4616 South Shields, Fort Collins, CO 80526 It is very important for BHA to understand the needs of the communities it serves, and the best way to accomplish that is to meet the people where they are and hear from them directly.

CBHC is grateful to Sen. Kyle Mullica and the CO Senate Health Committee for creating an opportunity for safety net providers and patient advocates to explain the impact of Medicaid cuts in the federal budget reconciliation bill. Our board chair Dante Gonzales of Centennial Mental Health Center and board member Simon Smith of Clinica Family Health and Wellness spoke eloquently of their concerns about their clients losing coverage and access to care. #SaveOurSafetyNet #MedicaidMatters
