Last night, Shelby Saville, Starcom CEO, was honored with the 42nd Annual Frank Stanton Award for Excellence in Communication from the Center for Communication. The Stanton Award recognizes individuals who are shaping the future of our industry and are dedicated to mentoring the next generation of media leaders. Thank you to Chris Boothe, Rita Ferro, J. Max Robins, Shane Peros and the entire board for an amazing event filled with inspiring colleagues. In her speech, Shelby shared, "I set a personal KPI to ensure that Starcom continues to thrive long after my leadership ends. This means investing in the future leaders of our organization." Last week, we partnered with Sabio's newest offering, Creator Television, to discuss the creator economy and the growing interest in creator-led television as its own category. Our panel included Starcom's Gordon Bach, SVP, Culture Investment, Charlie Ibarra, co-founder of Creator TV and Jenny L., creator and producer. The session was moderated by Jorge Alcaraz, Ph.D., who guided the conversation about the importance of diverse creators, the authentic stories they offer and how creators are shaping the future of entertainment and diversifying media channels while having a positive impact by partnering with brands.

To wrap up Pride month, our LGBTQ+ Employee Resource Group, Sequence, partnered with Revry to host drag king bingo events, in celebration of their popular show, King of Drag. These events took place in our offices in Chicago, Los Angeles and New York City. We enjoyed performances, rounds of bingo and delicious food. A special thanks to Revry for the partnership, and a shout-out to Playwire and GumGum for sponsoring the food and drinks.
