The partnership will enable MLB to distribute primary ticket inventory through StubHub and other authorised ticket marketplaces using StubHub’s direct issuance technology. From the 2026 season, MLB can distribute primary ticket inventory via StubHub’s issuance rails to StubHub and other approved marketplaces. ‼️ Key points - SeatGeek stays the anchor: It remains MLB’s primary authorized ticket marketplace and official fan-to-fan exchange, integrated with the MLB Ballpark app. - What changes: StubHub provides the infrastructure (direct issuance) so verified primary tickets can surface in more storefronts fans already use. - Fan upside: More choice, cleaner mobile fulfillment, and consistent verification across channels. - Club upside: Wider demand capture, better dynamic pricing tests, and richer data loops across marketplaces. 🤔 Why it matters This is distribution-as-infrastructure: MLB decouples issuance from a single storefront to expand reach while keeping standards, identity, and data centralized. Today we're introducing our most advanced speech-to-speech model, 'gpt-realtime', and updates to the Realtime API in general availability—enabling you to build reliable, production-ready voice agents. Our new model is significantly better at following complex instructions, calling the right tools at the right time, and producing more natural-sounding, expressive speech. We’re also releasing two new voices exclusively in the Realtime API: Cedar and Marin. We developed the model in close collaboration with our customers and evaluated its performance on real-world use cases like customer support, personal assistance, and education. The Realtime API features new capabilities as well, including image inputs, connecting to remote MCP servers, and SIP phone-calling.
