Architects and Developers of the Framework to End Homelessness

About us

Simtech Solutions Inc. is a mission-driven for-profit with over 20 years of leadership in developing technologies to understand and address homelessness. Our framework is comprised of: • The Show The Way mobile app. This app enables street outreach providers, first responders, and concerned citizens to connect people experiencing homelessness with services and guide them on a pathway to stable housing. • The Counting Us mobile app. With a roster of 70+ communities using it, Counting Us is the most widely used mobile application designed specifically for the annual US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) point-in-time homeless census. • The HomelessData.com data warehouse. The warehouse ingests pertinent data to provide communities with centralized oversight of their entire homeless population and the providers committed to supporting this population. Key features include performance monitoring and evaluation dashboards designed in Tableau, by-name lists, all HUD-required reports, data quality monitoring tools, and performance evaluation scorecards. Our technical solutions can either augment or replace existing Homeless Management Information Systems (HMIS) that grantees of the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) are required to use.
