🎟️ The way fans experience live events has evolved, but the way they shop for tickets hasn’t. Today, we launched Beyond the Seat, our newest product release that helps our partners sell the full experience behind every seat, going beyond a static dot on a map. Picture immersive 360° seat views and rich visuals of clubs and lounges — features that show fans exactly what makes each ticket worth it. This isn’t just a product launch; it’s a new way of thinking about how we sell live experiences. 👉 Learn more: https://lnkd.in/gqKMfV4i #LiveEvents #Ticketing #FanExperience #SportsBusiness #BeyondTheSeat

About us
Help the world experience more live. SeatGeek was built in 2009 as the only mobile ticketing marketplace created with fan experience top of mind. We’re transforming the way fans buy and sell their tickets to their favorite live events across sports, music, and theater. While we humbly believe we have the best consumer technology on the market, our mission goes beyond that – by bringing a technology-first approach to an entire industry sorely in need of a better solution, we aim to be a force for good in live entertainment. SeatGeek’s acquisition of TopTix marks our entrance into the primary market. From then on, we began providing the premier primary ticketing solution on the market, a perfect complement to our best-in-class consumer tech. Now our mission goes beyond the fan experience and brings power, control, and flexibility to rightsholders - reinventing live entertainment for the modern, mobile era. Looking to join us at SeatGeek? 🚨 New hire alert 🚨 Welcome to the team, Douglas Fowler - our new Senior Director of Business Partnerships. Doug joins us after nine years at FEVO, where he built and grew partnerships across sports and live entertainment. Reporting to Russell D'Souza, he’ll focus on helping more teams and venues tap into SeatGeek’s technology to create better experiences for fans. Reach out to Doug to say hello, talk Virginia or Knicks hoops, or swap greyhound pics.
Excited to share some news - I’ve joined SeatGeek as Senior Director of Business Partnerships. I’ve been lucky enough to spend the past decade helping teams and leagues reimagine how they connect with fans, and during that time I’ve watched SeatGeek go from an upstart to one of the most important players in primary ticketing. Their rise hasn’t been by accident - it’s the result of great technology, a team that truly listens to partners, and a willingness to push the industry forward. I can’t wait to roll up my sleeves and work with teams and venues to keep raising the bar for what ticketing can do for fans.

“Your favorite sports memory is never a game you watched on TV.” That line from Robert Gallo, SVP of Club Business Development at the National Football League (NFL), set the tone for our first All Access Pass fireside chat — SeatGeek’s new internal series spotlighting the voices shaping live events. Bobby sat down with David Adelman, our EVP of Clients and Partners, for a live chat in our NYC office. From international expansion to new stadiums and AI, they explored how the NFL is leveling up the fan experience while driving long-term growth for its clubs. As the primary ticketing partner for six NFL clubs and an official secondary partner for the league, we're proud to play a role in their evolution. It’s a partnership built not just on technology, but on shared ambition: to accelerate fandom and reimagine what the live event experience can be.

Solo game days are on the rise. 🏟️ According to SeatGeek data featured in Maxwell Millington's story for Axios, single-ticket purchases to pro sports games have climbed every year since 2022, driven by Gen Z and younger millennials prioritizing experience-first spending. Illinois and Washington, D.C. are leading the trend with the highest share of solo buyers so far in 2025 (20%). 👉 Check out the map and full analysis here: https://lnkd.in/g5eHDvRV

Ethan Joyce at Sports Business Journal recently covered SeatGeekIQ, our AI-powered marketplace intelligence engine, and spoke with some of our partners about how it's helping them turn real-time demand into smarter pricing strategies. SeatGeekIQ adapts to what’s happening on the ground: a last-minute touchdown, a looming hurricane, or a sudden spike in fan interest due to a certain someone's famous love interest attending a game. It’s predictive. Built for flexibility, speed, and alignment with each partner’s goals — whether it's stronger sales or fewer empty seats. Exciting start to college football season. Today, Nick Schultz and On3 | Rivals shared the news of SeatGeek’s expanded NIL campaign, featuring more than ten athletes from top programs like Alabama, Texas, Georgia, and Ohio State. As Joey Goodrich put it: “What’s exciting about NIL is that it gives us a way to connect with fans through the players they already know and love. We’ve seen that when athletes promote SeatGeek, fans respond in a big way. It’s quickly become one of the most impactful ways for us to engage college football fans and drive real results for our partners.” We’re proud to be the only ticketer leaning into NIL at this scale and to continue building authentic connections between athletes and fans. This week, we hosted our 35th company-wide hackathon: Now That’s What I Call Hacking, and innovation never sounded so good. 🎵🎸 Like any great mixtape, it was a mashup of ideas, all geared toward making it easier to build a better live events experience — from helping fans find events that match their vibe, schedule, or location to using AI to build venue maps in a fraction of the time. Huge thanks to everyone who brought the energy and creativity, and a big congrats to our grand prize winners (cue the celebratory playlist 🎉): Heidi Austin and our team of new grads Allison He, Ian Concannon, Sebastian Park, and Sadie F.

🔍 What happens when you bring together a group of thoughtful, forward-looking sports leaders to talk about the future of live events? Last week, we hosted the inaugural SeatGeekIQ Summit, a day and a half of candid conversations, fresh ideas, and big-picture thinking about where our industry is headed. A few key themes that surfaced: 🔍 Identifying fans in-venue remains a challenge (it’s what inspired us to build Parties). 🧠 AI is only as effective as the data and expectations behind it. 🎯 The right mix of rewards and personalized experiences can unlock better fan data and engagement. 🚀 AI is a leapfrog moment. Let’s use it to push the boundaries of live event — not just optimize what already exists. The dialogue was energizing, and the appetite to go beyond “good enough” to pushing the boundaries of what’s possible came through loud and clear. Thank you to everyone who joined us. For those who couldn’t make it — we hope to continue the conversation soon. Learn more 👉 https://seatgeek.com/iq.
