About us
With both the population of Northwest Arkansas and the number of people who face financial hardship continuing to grow, the need for food distribution services to those facing or experiencing hunger is increasing. It is through partnerships with over 160 member agencies that we are able to reach out to those in need. In NWA the there are 70,000 people facing hunger insecurity. It is our mission to work towards an end of this issue through strong partnerships with local companies, organizations and community members.

This week in Northwest Arkansas is one of the BEST weeks of the year! Not only do we get to go out and watch some of the best women golfers in the world, but we also know that the tournament supports our organization! This morning members of the tournament, Tyson Foods, and Walmart were on hand to present us with a $20,000 check and donated protein- in conjunction with LPGA week. What a blessing it is to have such support from these businesses and from the community. EVERY organization needs a Paula!!! This week we got to surprise our superstar volunteer Paula for 10 years...yes 10 years!... of volunteering with the Northwest Arkansas Food Bank. Paula is the one who always shows up, always has a contagious smile on her face, and has even recruited her husband to volunteer at our Mobile Pantries with her. We are VERY thankful for you, Paula!
