    co-founder @ mintlify - we're hiring

A customer posted a product idea We shipped it in under 24 hours The velocity of shipping is what drew our earliest customers to Mintlify And it’s something we don’t want to lose, even as the team and our customer base grow Startups live and die by how quickly they can turn feedback or ideas into reality

  • Excited to announce that HubSpot has partnered with Mintlify to reimagine their developer experience! "Delivering a best-in-class developer experience is non-negotiable for us. That’s why moving our documentation to Mintlify was the obvious choice." "Mintlify's AI-native platform, built specifically for developers, enables us to give our community the modern, intuitive, and efficient experience they expect - and deserve." - Robyn N., Product | Developer Growth

We’ve launched a new documentation experience, in partnership with Mintlify, that’s designed from the ground up to be AI-native. With our new docs site, you can: - Set up an MCP server and ask your favorite agent, like Anthropic Claude or Cursor, questions about how to use and implement Vantage tools. - Search the docs with a new AI Assistant to find exactly what you need. - Explore guides and references in a faster and more intuitive interface. Check out this post for additional details: https://lnkd.in/eFqS4yg9

It's a huge honor to be powering the new HubSpot Developer Platform! HubSpot has long been the gold standard in sales and marketing software, but they’ve recently acted with remarkable speed to upgrade their lesser known developer experience. Their first step: treating documentation as a product that deserves the same polish and care. With refreshed, AI-native documentation through Mintlify, it's now easier than ever for builders to extend and customize HubSpot. Seeing the new experience unveiled at Inbound this week was a proud moment for both our teams.

writing docs about writing docs @ Mintlify

I joined Mintlify in May with a two week vacation scheduled in August. I was nervous about blocking docs updates while I was away, but after using Claude Code for a while, I realized it is the perfect tool for helping my team keep things running while I'm away. I turned my internal guidelines for using Claude Code as a technical writing assistant into a blog post. Check it out: https://lnkd.in/gT675AbT

Last week, we hosted a dinner for DevRel leaders from Replit, Samsung Research America (SRA), Groq, Elastic, and more - an open space to swap stories and share learnings. Some memorable lines: - AI means lowering the cost of entry for people to become builders, but as a result, the bar for good taste is getting higher - Technical writers will become librarians - they need to organize and manage knowledge, but they won't need to write all the books themselves - Personalization of knowledge is here, and now it's a question of what and how that looks like at scale And a particularly fun anecdote from the night - someone built a RAG chatbot for his homegrown wedding website. A perfect snapshot of the creativity in this community. Up next - we're cooking something special in September with Thariq Shihipar, DevRel at Anthropic. If you're in SF and thinking about AI x DevEx, drop a comment so we can invite you!

We built a slack app to help you save hours from answering repetitive questions. Your team fields the same questions daily. Your community asks "how do I..." hundreds of times. Meanwhile, the answers already exist - buried in your docs. That's why we built the Mintlify AI Slack bot Here's what it does: Instantly answers questions using your documentation as the source Responds to DMs, @mentions, and messages in dedicated channels Gives your team back hours every week The result? Your users get instant, accurate answers. Your team focuses on building, not repeating themselves. We're reimagining how teams and communities access product knowledge - whether through AI assistants in your docs or intelligent bots in your workspace. What repetitive questions eat up your team's time?

  • Many companies fall into the trap of having their documentation follow internal hierarchies, not how users think. At Pinecone, Jesse Seldess flipped that. He restructured the docs around user journeys, not internal hierarchies - then layered in AI to speed up reviews, reduce redundancies, and maintain voice at scale. Now Pinecone’s docs help users get to value faster, with less lift on the support team.

  • We've acquired Trieve! Over the past year, Trieve has powered the infrastructure behind Mintlify's search and assistant, delivering over 23 million answers a month. We're excited to accelerating our investment in delivering instant, context-aware answers from documentation at scale. Huge welcome to the Trieve team!
