Sterility and Bioburden in hours, not days

About us

At Mango, we believe sterility and bioburden testing shouldn’t take weeks. That’s why we built the Mango M6 — a rapid, growth-based microbiology platform that delivers clear results in hours, not days. Unlike traditional systems that rely on dyes, stains, and complex workflows, Mango is designed for simplicity, accuracy, and speed. Our platform gives QC teams the confidence to release products faster while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and patient safety. We partner with leading pharmaceutical manufacturers to help them: Accelerate manufacturing decisions with real-time sterility and bioburden insights, Simplify QC workflows with intuitive, growth-based technology and stay audit-ready with data integrity and 21 CFR Part 11 compliant software. Mango is more than a tool — it’s a technological leap in microbiology: faster, easier, and built for the future of advanced manufacturing.

  • Microbiology: Through the Lens of Time Episode 5 – Robert Koch (Late 1800s) Magnification: ~1000x (oil immersion compound microscope) Breakthrough: Linking Microbes to Disease 📖 If Pasteur gave us germ theory, Robert Koch gave us the rules to prove it. In the 1870s–1880s, Koch pioneered techniques to isolate pure cultures — developing solid agar media, streak plates, and staining methods that are still foundational today. 🧠 Koch identified Bacillus anthracis, Mycobacterium tuberculosis, and Vibrio cholerae, proving they caused anthrax, TB, and cholera. He established Koch’s Postulates — a systematic way to link a microbe to a disease — which became the blueprint for modern infectious disease research. ⚡ Why It Matters Today Koch’s work taught us that you can’t solve a problem until you know exactly what organism you’re dealing with — and that speed matters when lives are on the line. At Mango, we carry this forward by giving QC teams faster, growth-based results, so they can identify issues sooner, release products with confidence, and keep patients safe — just as Koch would have demanded. 🦥💤 Microbiology doesn’t sleep. While a sloth might nap the day away, microbes never do. They’re always growing, multiplying, and shaping outcomes — whether we’re ready or not. That’s why waiting days for sterility or bioburden results isn’t good enough. Mango delivers clarity in hours, not days — keeping pace with the organisms, not behind them. Because in QC, you can’t afford to snooze. Learn more @ www.mangomicro.com

  • 🔬 Microbiology: Through the Lens of Time Episode 4 –Louis Pasteur (1850-1860s) Magnification: ~1000x (compound microscope) | Breakthrough: Germ theory & microbial causation 📖 In the mid-1800s, Louis Pasteur demonstrated that microbes weren’t spontaneous “life forces” but living organisms that caused fermentation, spoilage, and disease. Through carefully controlled experiments — from swan-neck flasks to fermentation studies — he overturned centuries of belief in spontaneous generation. 🧠 Pasteur’s work didn’t just change microbiology — it changed medicine. His discoveries gave birth to pasteurization, vaccines, and aseptic technique, and they inspired Koch to develop methods that linked specific microbes to specific diseases. ⚡ Why it matters today: Pasteur showed that microbes weren’t random — they were the hidden cause behind disease and spoilage. At Mango, we carry that same spirit forward: giving QC labs the clarity to see microbial growth sooner, linking presence to action in hours, not days. 🐢 Microbiology shouldn’t crawl. Why wait days to see what’s already growing? In QC labs, delays aren’t just inconvenient — they create bottlenecks that ripple through manufacturing, release, and supply. The science hasn’t changed. The organisms haven’t changed. What has changed is the ability to see them sooner. Faster visibility means earlier decisions, fewer delays, and stronger control of your process.
