Last night we launched Dakota for Madewell the only way we know how—effortlessly. We gathered with friends (and Dakota Fanning herself) at Fanelli Cafe in SoHo to toast more than just the new capsule—we celebrated the power of personal style and the beauty of simplicity. Together, we designed the essentials Dakota had been searching for: the perfect jeans and tee. And in the spirit of essentials, we kept the night classic—dining on burgers, fries, and champagne and martinis. A reminder that simple isn’t boring—it’s just timeless.
