Yesterday, we were honored to host the first open house for the City of Washougal’s Schmid Family Park! This future 17.8-acre riverfront park will combine restored natural habitat with community spaces to connect with each other and nature. Hearing directly from community members is a vital part of shaping this vision, and we’re grateful to everyone who came out to share their ideas and excitement. Together, we’re building a park that reflects the values and spirit of Washougal, a place to gather and enjoy the great outdoors for generations to come. Great to be part of U2025 this year! It was an excellent opportunity to connect with colleagues, exchange ideas, and learn about the latest trends in uranium mining. Conferences like this remind me of the value of bringing diverse perspectives together to solve complex challenges. Many thanks to the organizers, speakers, and all who shared their insights - and everyone who stopped by EA's booth to join the fun! Looking forward to staying connected with new contacts and continuing the conversations!

MacKay Sposito had an absolute blast at the 2025 Walker Cup, presented by the Land Surveyors' Association of Washington! 🏌️♂️⛳ As proud sponsors, we value opportunities like this to connect with peers in the surveying community, celebrate the profession, and support an event that brings people together both on and off the course. The cherry on top? This tournament also raises funds for the George F. Walker Memorial Scholarship program, supporting the next generation of surveyors. #FieldFriday 🌿 This week MacKay Sposito Environmental Scientists, Kevin Terlep and Laura Pitts, braved the Eastern Washington heat to identify and evaluate native shrubsteppe habitat near a project site. At first glance, shrubsteppe may seem unassuming, but it’s actually one of Washington’s most diverse ecosystems, supporting hundreds of species of birds, mammals, reptiles, and amphibians (some found nowhere else in the state!). By carefully studying these habitats, our team helps clients make informed design choices that both protect important ecosystems and meet regulatory requirements! #HabitatProtection #EnvironmentalScience #FieldStudy
