"Analytics should function as an early warning system for institutions, not a tracking system for students." 💡 During a recent panel at Eduverse Summit India 2026, Gaurav Prasad (Moodle HQ) dove deep into how digital infrastructure reduces the "friction of transition" for students moving across cultures and academic norms. A few key points Gaurav shared on the panel: 📱Mobile-first is equity-first: For international students, offline access and multilingual interfaces aren't "perks"—they are essential to their learning journey. 📈Analytics for support: By identifying drops in participation via analytics, institutions can step in before a student falls behind. They're not for individual surveillance, but for identifying patterns. ⌨️Beyond the classroom: We aren't just teaching subjects. Ultimately, we’re teaching students how to learn in digital environments—a skill that is currency in the modern workplace. When we design digital learning well, we aren't just "delivering education".
