A vintage look for our Founders Building, where it all began. This is where production for E. & J. Gallo Winery started in 1933. Our founders, Ernest & Julio Gallo, worked here until they outgrew the space a few years later.

Our Canandaigua Winegrowing Team linked up with the Cornell Grape Breeding Program to explore a promising new grape variety still in development. Together, we handpicked the fruit and split it into two fermentation styles, Rosé and deep red, to uncover the unique flavors and aromas this grape can offer. 🧪

Exciting things are happening at our Canandaigua Winery this harvest season! Our team has streamlined operations by moving quality testing to the truck staging area, which has cut down unload times and boosted efficiency. Plus, our Winegrowing team has been experimenting with a unique white grape variety in trial harvests. These trials will fuel new product concepts for sparking and dessert wines, along with ready-to-drink beverages. 🚚

🍷 BIG NEWS 🍷 Whiny Baby has officially been acquired by GALLO. 5 years ago I started a brand for the new generation. Today, that brand is joining the largest wine company in the world. At 22, a first-date trip to the wine aisle left me lost and uninspired. That moment sparked a brand to make wine fun, approachable, and built for my generation. At 24, I self-launched Whiny Baby. By 26, I partnered with the incredible McBride Sisters Wine Company bringing the brand into national retail. And today, at 28, I’m entering a historic new chapter with GALLO. This is a dream come true, and I am honored to join a legacy company with world-class leaders. I’ll continue as Founder & Head of Whiny Baby while consulting on Emerging Consumer Innovation at GALLO — innovating across their portfolio while reimagining Whiny Baby with the same mission: welcoming the next generation into wine. This was only possible because of those who believed from the start: ✨ Robin McBride & Andréa McBride John — thank you for taking a huge risk and elevating us to the national stage. Our mission of making wine accessible continues; your friendship and mentorship mean the world. ✨ Darryl Thompson and the McBride Sisters Wine Company — thank you for your tireless work and belief in getting this across the line. ✨ Stephanie Gallo — thanks for answering a cold DM, your belief, and mentorship. It’s an honor to learn from you. ✨ Britt West, Stephen Carlotti, Antonio Ferraro, Beth Orozco, and Kimberly Roberts — thank you for your leadership. Can’t wait to work with you and your teams. ✨ John Wilson, Teresa Pahl and Vincent Oddo — thank you for guiding me through so many firsts. ✨ Ansley Oberkofler and Giovanna Sacco — thank you for building our loyal community and brand. ✨ To our consumers and community — from the first TikTok to those early hand-delivered bottles — this is just the beginning. You’ll continue to drive our brand. ✨ To our retail and distributor partners — thank you for taking a chance on a Gen Z wine brand and bringing it to shelves nationwide. We’ll strengthen and grow our partnerships. ✨ To my friends and family — your support at every step is my ultimate encouragement. ✨ And finally, to my mom — your sacrifices and belief made this possible. I am me because of you. This is more than an acquisition — it’s proof to every young entrepreneur that you don’t need a fancy degree or millions in funding. Sometimes your greatest asset is what you don’t know, because it lets you reimagine the rules. Persistence, authenticity, strategy, creativity, collaboration, faith, community — and yes, a little founder delusion — can change an industry. 🍷 I’m deeply grateful to continue in an industry that embodies life itself — bringing people together, cultivating connection, creating memories. I couldn’t be more excited for what’s ahead. Let’s get to work. Time to welcome a new generation of wine lovers. ✨ #WhinyBaby #GALLO #NextGenerationOfWine #DontStayBottledUp
