#YourLeeClerk recently spent the afternoon at FGCU presenting to students! Our clerks Brian, Renukaa, Yesenia and Cody spoke with more than 80 freshman students on the role of the Clerk and Comptroller’s office and what it’s like to work in governmental accounting. All of the students had wonderful questions and were very engaged! It was a great time!

🏠 Did you miss our recent class on property assessments and disputes? #YourLeeClerk partnered with Lee County Property Appraiser Matt Caldwell to host a free class on how property value is assessed and how to contest the property assessments through the Clerk’s Value Adjustment Board (VAB). In case you missed it, we have a recorded How-To video on how the VAB process works. It can be found at www.leeclerk.org/howto. Don’t forget – if you want to contest your property assessments, the deadline to file a petition with the VAB is Sept. 12. *Please note: We strongly encourage any potential filer to call the Property Appraiser’s Office prior to submitting their petition.
