Lakeside Software has launched SysTrack AI, an innovative AI reasoning layer that enhances its established SysTrack digital experience platform. This new product builds on SysTrack’s extensive endpoint telemetry by incorporating causal reasoning and natural-language explanations. Robert Dobson, VP of Global Channels talked about the company's causal AI reasoning engine to analyze data and pinpoint the root causes of IT issues. This tool seamlessly integrates with service desk applications, providing actionable insights for IT engineers and facilitating support for end users through a Teams app and voice interactions for troubleshooting and ticket escalation. Notably, the upcoming track AI system is expected to achieve a 90% accuracy rate in ticket resolution while addressing data security concerns by ensuring compliance with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 standards to safeguard user information. Dobson also shared his vision for Lakeside’s channel strategy, which focuses on rebuilding a diverse partner network and launching a new channel program designed to incentivize collaboration. He highlighted the significance of SysTrack in identifying challenges within user environments, ultimately enhancing partner support for customers.

Self-healing tech only works when diagnosis is automated… And when devices can advocate for themselves. During the conversation, @Rita Richa raised the question of real-world use cases, and it gave me the chance to share how AI-driven automated diagnostics are already pinpointing root causes today. It’s fresh tech, but it’s real and deliverable right now. Here are the big ideas that stood out to me: 1. Fully automated diagnostics lay the foundation for automatic repair 2. IT and OT are finally converging in a meaningful way 3. Devices without day-to-day “owners” need to advocate for themselves That convergence is where the next big productivity lift happens.
