On a panel at the United Nations Headquarters in New York last week, we marked an important milestone: becoming the first U.S. roaster to join the Advancing Climate-Resilience and Transformation in African Coffee (ACT) Programme. Led by UNIDO and supported by the Italian Government, this initiative brings together partners across the coffee chain—including the International Coffee Organization and Inter-African Coffee Organisation —to strengthen Africa’s coffee industry through technology, financial tools, and policy support. Together, with the right tools and support, coffee can fuel strong communities and a healthier planet—one cup at a time.
