Ohio is focused on school-based wellness supports to ensure students are ready to learn each day. Governor Mike DeWine celebrated the opening of the Gallia Academy High School Wellness Center, a new school-based health clinic serving Gallipolis and surrounding Gallia County. School-based healthcare has been shown to significantly reduce barriers to accessing essential health services, leading to improved physical, behavioral, and academic outcomes for students. https://lnkd.in/ef6arZJn

NEW: Governor Mike DeWine and Director Stephen Dackin announced the launch of the Ohio School Bus Safety Grant Program. The creation of this program was one of the recommendations from the Governor's School Bus Safety Working Group. It’s a great day to remind you that Ms. Norbury helped Cady stay engaged at school and encouraged her to pursue her strength in calculus by joining the North Shore High School Mathletes. The limit does not exist for students thanks to dedicated educators and school staff!
