It originally opened to students back in the 1920's and named Ramsey Middle School after the second governor of Minnesota. It was recently renamed in 2022 to Hidden River Middle School, after the original school being built on an active aquifer. And our skilled employees have been working alongside our general contracting partner Kraus-Anderson to reinvigorate Hidden River with vibrant colors throughout. The renovation will allow students and staff to continue to focus on the school's magnet specialties - being the first International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme for the district, a French Immersion School and being among one of the first schools in Minnesota to be a certified Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) site. AVID provides help in building skills in the areas of organization, time management, note taking, and test taking. Big news — our new City Hall in Chanhassen is officially up and running! While finishing touches are ongoing, the building is open for business with a ribbon-cutting ceremony happening on September 22, outside the Council Chambers. Alongside City Of Chanhassen Mayor Elise Ryan, BKV Group with our project partner Kraus-Anderson celebrated the milestone and took preliminary photos of the project's first phase. Phase 2 of the Civic Campus (north of City Hall) is underway, and is expected done by July 2026. When finished, this portion will feature a downtown park, universal playground, splash fountain, pavilion, performance stage, pickleball courts, and gathering spaces. Way to go team!

[ROCHESTER] A major redevelopment is planned for a cleared block in the Lowertown neighborhood. Stack MN is moving forward with LoTo Lofts, a new housing project designed by UrbanWorks Architecture LLC that will bring new apartments and future townhomes to the site. Kraus-Anderson will lead construction, with a full project team that includes ISG, Braun Intertec Corporation, WSE, BKBM Engineers, Damon Farber Landscape Architects, BKBM Engineers, Cain Thomas Associates, Inc., ACCORD ELECTRIC, INC., and Pristash Construction Services, LLC | Pristash Construction LLC. The Rochester Economic Development Authority has approved tax increment financing to support the project, paving the way for construction to begin in 2026. The NAIOP Minnesota Awards of Excellence were held last Wednesday, and we're thrilled to have been the design partner on three winners! In the Medical / Medical Office Category, Windom Area Health (WAH) received the title. WAH serves Windom and surrounding communities in southwest Minnesota, where increasing patient volumes and needs were exceeding capacity. To address this, WAH expanded its services with a clinic addition, enhancing wellness opportunities and optimizing patient convenience. The new 4-story Medical Building expansion replaces a single-story clinic on their campus, and houses Sanford Health Clinic, Windom Specialty Clinics, a third-floor shell space accommodating future growth.
