King Asphalt

King Asphalt recently completed improvements to 1.67 miles of Valley Falls Road, a busy corridor running under I-85, over I-585, and alongside USC Upstate. The project included milling, multiple asphalt lifts totaling nearly 5,000 tons, and coordination of signals, signage, guardrail, and pavement markings. Despite weather delays, our team finished ahead of schedule, earning recognition from SCDOT Spartanburg for strong communication, quality results, and minimal punch list items. We are proud to help keep Spartanburg moving.

Construction doesn’t happen without drivers. They are the first step in turning plans into reality. This week we recognize their hard work and the pride they bring to every mile.

Our crews have started night work on South Tryon Street in Charlotte, with the first patch now underway. South Tryon is one of the city’s busiest corridors, and we’re proud of our team for taking on this important project and getting the job done safely at night.
