Thousands of fans filled KC Live! in the Power & Light District for the first-ever New Heights Tailgate this past Sunday. Chiefs Kingdom and Eagles fans united to celebrate the Kelce Brothers and illustrated just how much energy we can create together in the heart of KC. This wasn’t just a tailgate. It was franchise development in real time. A fan-first platform with proof that the right stage can turn passion into scale and energy into brand impact. Thanks to our partners at Audible and Wondery, the incredible team who brought the vision to life, and every single fan who showed up and showed out.

This weekend was another big one for the Power & Light District. FOX Sports’ NFL Sunday broadcast from KC Live!, Audible showed up strong with the New Heights Tailgate, and thousands came out for the Chiefs–Eagles rematch. Brady even hit Gronk with a pass from balcony to balcony. Learn more about the rare regular season broadcast in this Forbes article where Rod Conti, FOX Sports SVP of Studio remote operations says of KC Live!: “It was almost custom made for something like this. Power & Light has presently been one of the most perfect fits." https://lnkd.in/g7UrnbkJ

Downtown Kansas City’s momentum is undeniable & it’s getting noticed. This great piece from KCtoday highlights just how far the downtown core has come, citing the Power & Light District as a shining example: "Once a sea of surface lots, it’s now a cultural epicenter, anchoring everything from live music and dining to civic celebrations. CNN even dubbed it 'the biggest catalyst in KC’s revival.'" We're incredibly proud that we have played a significant role in KC's journey so far and are excited for what’s still ahead. Great interview with Cordish COO Zed Smith in the latest from "Urban Land", ULI's official magazine. He breaks down the thinking behind our hospitality and mixed-use strategy and calls out Kansas City and the Power & Light District as a national example of long-term investment done right. It’s a solid look at how smart planning, strong partnerships, and local energy can help reshape a city’s core. Worth the read: https://lnkd.in/gXvE_tSa

Event planning with a personal touch...seamlessly blending a new venue (Besos Y Abrazos), food, beverage, music and floral artistry (one of my favorites) into an unforgettable celebration.
