The first day of fall is here! 🍂🧣 Staff had a great time making our own cheesy Hallmark movie to celebrate the start of everyone’s favorite season (right?!) and to encourage residents to join us on Oct. 10-11 at our inaugural Fall Into Flower Mound Festival. If you’re local, make a plan to join us by learning more at https://lnkd.in/gkxAiqZX. And if you're not from our neck of the woods, we hope you at least enjoy this cozy, feel-good short film that gives you a glimpse into the magic of Flower Mound! 🥰

Happy National Police Woman Day! In 2024, the Flower Mound Police Department was accepted as a 30X30 Law Enforcement Agency. Under the program, which is aimed at supporting and advancing women in policing, we began a series of actions to improve representation and experiences of women in sworn positions in all ranks across the department. Currently, Flower Mound has 14 female police officers with two more set to join the department following their police academy graduation. These women are leaders, mentors, and role models who make a difference in our community every day. If that sounds like something you’d like to be a part of, please visit www.flowermoundpdjobs.com to learn more and apply for our open positions.
