In Figma Design you can easily cut up a shape with a path using the shape builder tool, without moving over to draw! 🤯 Just draw the path you want to use to "Cut." Just select your object and path and press "M," and click your regions.

One for the highlight reel 🎥 As we got closer to Figma going public, we kept asking ourselves: why stop at ringing the bell when you can take over NYC? Of course, pulling off something like this came with its own challenges. We had less than 15 hours to spread the word once the press release dropped - so we hit the ground running with flyers at subway stations and ferry terminals, wildposting across the city, murals, billboards, and even launching our own holiday - Thank Your Designer Day (which honestly should be every day). In just a few short weeks, this team pulled off something unforgettable. I’m beyond lucky to work with people who ask the bold questions, and a community that inspires us every day.
