We had such a great time celebrating Latinx Heritage Month with Somos, Faire’s Latinx and Hispanic employee resource group. Across our offices, teammates came together to honor the cultures, traditions, and vibrant contributions of the community — enjoying traditional treats, a live local salsa band, and gifts from Faire brands like Proyecto Diaz Coffee, Oaktown Spice Shop, Yarrow Goods, Paca Botánica, and Caminito. At Faire, we’re proud to uplift and empower Latinx voices — from our teammates building connections through Somos, to the many Latinx-owned brands and retailers growing their businesses through our platform.

We were thrilled to welcome Sulman Choudhry, Head of Engineering for ChatGPT at OpenAI, to our Kitchener-Waterloo office last week for a visit and fireside chat with our engineering teams. It was an energizing conversation that sparked new ideas and left us inspired about the role AI can play in shaping the future of independent retail.
