National Coffee Day just got a protein boost. Starbucks rolled out protein cold foam and protein-boosted milk — and that’s a big deal for dairy. Consumers aren’t just looking for caffeine anymore, they’re demanding coffee that works harder. The trend is clear: coffee + protein + dairy = fueling the future. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/eMSD9myi #NationalCoffeeDay #BetterWithDairy #ProteinPacked

About us
Dairy MAX is a nonprofit dairy council representing more than 700 dairy farm families across Colorado, southwest Kansas, Louisiana, Montana, New Mexico, western Oklahoma, Texas and Wyoming, who work 365 days a year to feed millions of people. Simply put, we’re a connected group of experts in dairy farming, education, health & wellness, and business – passionate about the great taste and proven health benefits of dairy, and dedicated to supporting its producers in any way we can. We strive to build healthier communities by working with health professionals, schools and more through these areas: • Health & Wellness – We work with registered dietitians and other health and wellness experts to connect with and educate health professionals on the natural goodness of dairy and the science behind its nutritional benefits. • Consumers – We promote consumer confidence in dairy foods by sharing the best news out there both digitally and face to face – that dairy is a real, fresh and satisfying daily food choice. • Education – We’re excited to work with the next generation of dairy lovers in schools. Through initiatives like Fuel Up to Play 60, our school marketing team teaches kids healthy habits and encourages them to choose dairy as adults. • Industry Image & Relations – We give dairy farmers the tools to tell their stories through the Our Land, Our Cows, Our Passion℠ platform. From farm tours to community events, we are committed to helping farmers serve their communities. • Business Development – We partner with companies and other organizations to promote dairy demand and consumption. As the official nutrition partner of the Dallas Cowboys, we also work with restaurants such as Domino’s® and McDonald’s® to increase the number of menu items containing real dairy.

🚨 Breaking News 🚨 Wyoming Athletics and Dairy MAX Inc. have unveiled a pioneering Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) campaign, introducing the first-ever live dairy cow as a NIL partner. This innovative collaboration highlights the nutritional benefits of chocolate milk for athletic recovery, featuring Wyoming student-athletes Kaylee Simshauser (rodeo), Jack Walsh (football), Caden Barnett (football), and Caleb Merritt (football). Their reactions to the cow’s NIL “signing” bring a playful twist to the campaign. Dairy MAX CEO Jennie McDowell emphasized the campaign’s creativity, stating, “We’ve created a one-of-a-kind way to connect fans with both student-athletes and the dairy farmers who fuel them.” Rob DeSoto, General Manager of Wyoming Sports Properties, added, “This is the kind of NIL story you won’t see anywhere else, and that’s what makes it uniquely Wyoming.” Since 2019, Dairy MAX and Wyoming Athletics have maintained a strong partnership. This new campaign further strengthens their collaboration, promoting healthy nutrition and supporting student-athletes. New research indicates consumer trust in dairy is growing. This year, Dairy MAX surveyed more than 1,200 people from Gen Alpha to Boomers, on attitude, awareness and usage (AAU) of dairy. The insights derived from this AAU study will be used to guide strategy and strengthen demand for dairy. Read the latest data and see how it’s shaping our work: https://lnkd.in/gqSx9UWg

We’re proud to celebrate the launch of "Smart Swaps," a new initiative from Dairy Management Inc. that helps schools adapt to evolving nutrition standards while keeping dairy front and center. Several Dairy MAX team members contributed to this national effort, supporting the development of resources, training and kid-approved breakfast recipes that align with USDA guidelines and student expectations. Their work is a strong example of how regional and national checkoff teams create impact together. A special thank you to Alyson Kirchner, SVP of Youth and Schools at DMI, for her leadership in bringing "Smart Swaps" to life. Together, we are ensuring students have access to the nutrient-rich foods they love and need. Read about it here: https://lnkd.in/gUTCxjEf

Dairy farm families across our region are showing what it means to innovate at scale. In Wyoming, the Burnett family is milking 6,200 cows daily — 800 every hour — totaling 66,400 gallons of milk per day for Leprino Foods, which makes mozzarella cheese for Pizza Hut. This operation highlights how dairy farmers are embracing: ▪️ Renewable energy through manure digesters ▪️ Indoor feed systems that grow sprouted grains year-round ▪️ Data-driven cow health monitoring ▪️ Crossing Holsteins with Angus cattle for “dairy beef” ventures to diversify and strengthen revenue streams It’s a strong example of how dairy families in our region are pairing sustainability, efficiency and innovation to meet growing consumer and environmental expectations.
