🎉We have big news to share, and it’s because of YOU! Garland ISD is on its way to becoming an A-rated district, earning recognition as one of the top-rated districts in Dallas County after a landmark year in the 2025 Texas Education Agency (TEA) Accountability Ratings. This year we: • Raised our overall rating from 81 to 84 • One of the highest CCMR ratings in the county, region, and state at 96% • Jumped to a B in Student Achievement • Improved five points in “Closing the Gaps” • Increased our A-rated campuses to 23, more than one-third of the district • Reached a point where about two-thirds of our campuses are rated A or B. • Earned at least one distinction at 42 campuses, up from 37 last year These results proved what we’ve known all along: when we set high expectations and work together, our students can achieve at the highest levels. This year, our theme, Built Different, is more than a motto. It’s the mindset that will carry our momentum forward, push us even higher, and keep us on track to becoming an A-rated district. To celebrate and to build on that momentum, we’re unveiling the first in a series of videos that capture the heart of our success.
