Updates

  • At Goodyear’s San Angelo Proving Grounds, our test drivers push tires to the edge on wet, dry, and everything in between. From the outside, it sounds like squealing tires. From the inside, it’s the sound of innovation in motion. Every lap, every spin, every maneuver proves that performance isn’t just engineered in the lab — it’s earned on the track. Because before a tire earns the Goodyear name, it has to earn their trust.

  • When our test drivers put tires through their paces, they don’t just drive — they push limits. Wet. Dry. Everything in between. That’s how our tires earn their reputation: Precision grip, controlled performance, and confidence when it matters most. From donuts on a wet track to sharp maneuvers in the dry, these tests prove what words alone can’t. Because for us, it’s never just about making a tire. It’s about making a promise. Still. Always. Forever.

  • From the streets to the sky, Goodyear showed up big at Woodward. 125+ years strong. Still. Always. Forever.

CEO & President at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company

Team Goodyear was proud to show up in a big way at one of my favorite events celebrating American automotive culture: the 2025 Woodward Dream Cruise in Greater Detroit. From classic cruisers to modern muscle cars, every vehicle on Woodward tells a story—and for more than 125 years, Goodyear has connected so many of them to the road. An iconic setting like this—on the streets, in the sky and in the community that makes it all possible—is exactly where we should be.

  • We are proud to welcome Jan-Piet van Kesteren as our new Managing Director EMEA & Chief Sales Officer EMEA Consumer. Jan-Piet will lead Goodyear’s Consumer business across Europe, the Middle East & Africa, focusing on driving sales execution, delivering profitable growth, and advancing our global strategy and objectives. He will also oversee key aspects of regional governance, ensuring strategic and operational alignment across the EMEA geography. With more than 20 years of international commercial leadership experience across the industrial and fast-moving consumer goods sectors, Jan-Piet brings a proven track record of leading large-scale businesses, developing high-performing teams, and delivering strong results. We’re excited for his leadership as we strengthen our distribution model, grow in high-value segments, and continue to execute with a sharp focus on our customers.

  • Three icons. One sky. Zero precedent. To celebrate 100 years of the Goodyear Blimp, we’re doing something that’s never been done before: We’re racing them. On Friday, August 1 at 9:30 a.m. EST, tune in to ESPN2’s The Ocho to witness the Goodyear Blimp Sky Race of the Century — a once-in-a-lifetime spectacle where Wingfoot One, Two and Three go head-to-head over Akron, Ohio. Part sport, part celebration, and all Goodyear.

  • From the Moon landing to the next giant leap. On this historic anniversary of the first lunar landing, we’re proud to share how Goodyear is once again pushing the boundaries of space exploration. As a member of the Lunar Dawn team, we’re developing next-generation metal mesh lunar tires for NASA’s Artemis program—designed to endure extreme cold and carry payloads at speed across the rugged lunar surface. Built on our legacy. Engineered for the future. See them in action during Earth-based testing ⬇️

  • Following the conclusion of our eighth Global Week of Volunteering earlier this month, we are celebrating the difference our associates make in the communities where we live and work as One Goodyear Team. This meaningful program serves as a catalyst for year-round volunteerism and emphasizes Goodyear’s commitment to giving back, which has been a core part of our culture and values for each of our 127 years. This year, our associates dedicated their time to complete more than 240 projects with nonprofits across the globe – more than any year before. Between supporting local foodbanks, renovating parks and schools, donating blood, inspiring students about STEM careers and so much more, the positive impact of #TeamGoodyear continues to build a Better Future.

  • Goodyear helped make history at Le Mans — and now you can see how it all came together. As the exclusive tire supplier and a key technical partner, Goodyear played a pivotal role in the Garage 56 project: a groundbreaking collaboration with NASCAR, Hendrick Motorsports and Chevrolet to take a stock car to the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Go behind the scenes in a new feature-length special showcasing the innovation, challenges, and teamwork behind one of motorsport’s boldest efforts. • The 24 Hours of Le Mans never fails to deliver—and this year was no exception. Supporting all 41 teams in the LMP2 and LMGT3 classes, Goodyear brought over 8,000 Eagle tires to meet the demands of the world’s toughest endurance race. From blistering heat to nightfall on the Circuit de la Sarthe, our technology—and our team—performed under pressure. But Le Mans is about more than lap times. It’s a celebration of engineering, endurance and the global motorsport community. We were proud to connect with fans, customers and partners from all over the world who came together for this unforgettable weekend. And yes—the Goodyear Blimp stole the show once again, soaring above the action as part of its 100-year anniversary tour. To the teams, the fans, and everyone behind the scenes—thank you for making Le Mans 2025 one to remember.
