The health care tax credit has helped millions of Americans afford coverage. Talk about inflation! This is one example of bureaucratic mess that is driving up all our health insurance premiums.    The No Surprises Act was meant to protect patients from unexpected medical bills. When a provider and insurance company can’t agree on the amount of a bill, the arbitration process was supposed to fairly resolve the dispute  Instead, providers are hitting the jackpot.     In 2024 alone, providers were securing  payments averaged 4x higher than in-network rates. That’s added $5 billion in wasteful spending in just two years.    BCBS companies are committed to protecting patients from surprise bills and the systemic cost increases that threaten affordability.
