✈️ Avelo Airlines Orders up to 100 Embraer E195‑E2s to Modernize Fleet, Reduce Cost, and Fuel Growth   Avelo Airlines has placed a firm order for 50 Embraer (NYSE: ERJ; B3: EMBR3) E195‑E2 aircraft, with purchase rights for 50 more, supporting the airline’s strategy to deliver affordable and convenient travel across the United States. Aircraft deliveries are expected to begin in the first half of 2027. The list-price value of the order is US$4.4 billion, excluding purchase rights.   Avelo will be the first U.S. carrier to operate Embraer’s largest and most advanced commercial aircraft, making this a significant milestone for Embraer’s flagship E2 program. The E195‑E2s will modernize Avelo’s fleet, complementing its Boeing 737NGs for the foreseeable future while improving cost efficiency and network reach.   The E2’s excellent short-field performance, enabled by E2TS (Embraer Enhanced Takeoff System), Embraer’s first of its kind proprietary technology, is a key capability that will open new markets for Avelo and drive efficiency in many of Avelo’s existing airports. This, along with the aircraft’s range, fuel efficiency, and small noise footprint establish it as the ideal aircraft to expand Avelo’s network.   Avelo Airlines Founder and CEO Andrew Levy said, “We are thrilled to partner with Embraer and bring this best-in-class small narrowbody airplane to the United States marketplace. ✈️ Avelo Airlines Secures Largest Investment Since Initial Funding   Avelo Airlines, America’s ultra-convenient low-fare airline, today announced it has closed on a new round of significant growth capital to support its continued expansion across the United States and the Caribbean.   This financing round represents the single largest investment in Avelo Airlines since the company’s initial Series A funding. This investment from a new partner underscores strong confidence in Avelo’s differentiated business model and track record since the airline’s launch in 2021. The proceeds will be used to fund growth in its scheduled service operation, make targeted technology investments, and enhance the overall Customer experience.   Avelo Airlines Founder and CEO Andrew Levy said, “Today marks another important milestone for Avelo. This new capital strengthens our liquidity position and positions us to continue delivering reliable, affordable travel options to millions of Customers who are underserved by other carriers. This investment comes at a pivotal time in the domestic airline industry and will allow Avelo to double down on an addressable market that is too often being priced out by higher fare airlines.”   Avelo recently closed the books on July, representing the company’s fourth fully allocated profit over the last five months, following approximately breakeven operating income in 2024 with no special items and no sale leaseback proceeds. Avelo’s core margins and cash position continue to improve organically, driven by revenue diversification initiatives and market maturation in our scheduled service operation. Saturday marked a momentous occasion as our Chief Pilot Captain Bob Lieser took to the skies for his final flight. After a distinguished 35+ years in the sky, he closed out his final flight, taking our Customers to paradise in Punta Cana. Captain Bob will continue to lead our pilots and flight operations here at Avelo, as he continues to showcase and set the highest standards for safety, mentorship, and professionalism. He was honored with a water cannon salute in Raleigh / Durham and Punta Cana. His family and other Avelo leaders also joined to celebrate Bob. Congratulations to Captain Bob Lieser on an incredible career in the sky!
