A New Chapter for Atomos Space We’re proud to share that Atomos Space is now part of Katalyst Space Technologies! Joining Katalyst marks an exciting leap forward in our mission to make rendezvous and proximity operations (RPO) routine, reliable, and revolutionary. Our flagship spacecraft, tech stack, and incredible team are now powering Katalyst’s expanding servicing, SDA, and upgrade offerings. We’re staying grounded in Broomfield, CO—and aiming higher than ever. Let’s change the way space works.
Big news: Atomos Space has been acquired. After years of building something truly ambitious, I'm proud to share that Atomos Space has been acquired by Katalyst Space Technologies. I'm thrilled to be joining Katalyst as VP of Program and Mission Management, where I’ll continue developing and operating awesome space vehicles. When I first met Ghonhee Lee a few years ago, we quickly saw that we shared many beliefs about how spacecraft rendezvous would revolutionize how satellite operators do business in space - if it could be performed safely, frequently, and at the right price point. Katalyst has some big announcements coming up about what’s next, but before we dive into the future, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the journey. None of this would have been possible without my incredible co-founder and husband, William Kowalski. Seven years ago, we took the plunge—leaving our day jobs with only a pitch deck in hand—to build a space company and help shape the future of human expansion into space. Through the highs and lows, we leaned on each other: William (the expert-of-all-trades) held the company together, while I (the energetic optimist) helped push us forward. I’ve learned so much from working alongside him—including that there’s a vast universe of things I may never fully understand about Excel and VBA—and I couldn’t be prouder of what we built together. We weathered a pandemic, a market pullback, and a bank run. And we didn’t just survive—we built an incredible team, delivered a technically complex mission on time and on budget, and launched our two spacecraft, Quark-lite and Gluon, on SpaceX’s Transporter-10. To our team, customers, and supporters—thank you for believing in us. We took a big swing at a hard problem, and while this chapter is closing, the mission lives on. More to come. 🚀
