It’s a responsibility, a duty, a mission, and a commitment to every small business and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) fighting for a fair shot in the federal marketplace. From day one, our coalition has stood up to make sure that the voices of small businesses are not only heard but represented at the highest levels. The wins we’ve achieved are not accidental or stumbled upon. They come from strategic advocacy, relentless engagement with policymakers, and a united belief that small businesses are the backbone of federal contracting. As SDVOSBs, our fight has always been bigger than ourselves. We carry the weight of service, sacrifice, and the desire to continue giving back through the work we do. Yet too often, SDVOSBs and small businesses face disproportionate barriers, unclear regulations, and policies that don’t reflect the reality on the ground. That’s exactly why this Coalition matters! It’s why we pushed for Congressional hearings. It’s why we advocated for realistic size standards. It’s why we demanded clarity on CMMC, protected the Rule of Two, and challenged rules that restrict growth. Because when small businesses have a voice, especially veteran-owned businesses, the entire acquisition ecosystem becomes stronger, more competitive, and more reflective of the people it serves.
