Shortly after the Cleveland Foundation was formed, a true trailblazer in her own right, Edith Anisfield-Wolf, had the vision to establish the Anisfield-Wolf Book Awards. At the foundation, we are so proud to serve as stewards honoring and furthering her remarkable legacy. Edith leveraged the power of endowment to assure that the funding and resources would be available to continue the awards in perpetuity. Join us in elevating and honoring this year's winning authors who share an unrelenting commitment to revealing and chronicling enduring truths. Congratulations to Jonathan D. S. Schroeder, Tessa Hulls, Danzy Senna, Janice N. Harrington, and Yusef Komunyakaa on their Anisfield-Wolf Book Awards!

The East Cleveland Public Library provides resources for the community beyond books. From children’s technology programs and after-school support to senior line dancing, teen centers, and community events, the library provides numerous free resources for residents. Since 1985, the East Cleveland Public Library has brought gospel, blues, jazz, and R&B to local residents—absolutely free. With support from the Cleveland Foundation, the Greg L.
