  • Today, we stood shoulder to shoulder with our community at the Fallen Heroes Remembrance Ceremony at the Antelope Valley Mall. LPD officers joined fellow agencies, families, and neighbors to honor the nearly 3,000 lives lost on 9/11 and the first responders whose courage and sacrifice will never be forgotten. Though the attacks happened thousands of miles away, the impact is still felt deeply here in Lancaster. It reminds us of the importance of service, unity, and protecting one another. Together, we remembered the heroes who gave everything and reaffirmed our commitment to serve with that same bravery and heart. We’ll never forget.
