Meet Jessica La Forge, artisanal ice cream extraordinaire and owner of God Save the Cream! 🍦 This local sweet stop was founded in 2014 before setting up shop in Englewood at 3296 S. Washington St. With the assistance of the City of Englewood Business Initiation Grant, Jessica was able to amp up her space by increasing her building’s electrical capabilities. This helped to create a confectionary workshop to suit her business needs and to serve up delicious treats to members of the community! Business resource grants are an excellent opportunity for new and existing business owners to partner with the city to bring their big ideas to reality. Jessica shared that working with specialists at the city on zoning and grant funding made partnering with the City of Englewood a sweet and seamless experience.
