We were honored to welcome U.S. Senator Lisa Blunt Rochester (Delaware) and her team to Chesapeake Utilities Corporation headquarters this week! Our conversations covered natural gas service across Delaware and our growth initiatives, from a 4.2% increase in customers to major infrastructure projects like the Worcester Resiliency Upgrade. The visit included a tour of our gas control room to see how we monitor gas flow and protect critical infrastructure, followed by a hands-on demonstration with our natural gas safety trailer — a key tool for training employees and first responders and inspiring the next generation to pursue energy careers. #EnergySafety #NaturalGas #Infrastructure #WorkforceDevelopment
